Estonian Chamber of Commerce in Lithuania together with Norwegian-Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce in LithuaniaFinnish Lithuanian chamber of Commerce, Polish and Lithuanian Chamber of Commerce and PRIMUS Legal Advisors are pleased to invite you to the 13th annual discussion: CAPITAL MARKETS, FINANCIAL MARKETS AND M&A. IN THE LANDSCAPE OF SECURITY ARCHITECTURE.

We are adding a security theme to this year’s traditional conference theme. Last year, our conference was held on March 3, at the very beginning of Russia’s war against Ukraine. All speakers emphasized that capital and financial market participants in the Baltic countries will closely monitor the political situation and plan strategies accordingly.

We all looked forward to the end of the war. Today, the war is still going on, and the market of the Baltic countries is already calculating the consequences. A few days ago, President Gitanas Nausėda said that the Lithuanian economy suffered a recession in the fourth quarter of last year, and geopolitical risks continue to adversely affect the investment climate. Declining foreign investment is worrying.

At this year’s conference/discussion, we will evaluate how:

  • the capital and financial markets in the Baltic countries changed over the last year,
  • what is the forecast for 2023. It will be especially important for participants to hear how the security architecture of the region will affect them.
